New Classic Villa
This is the renovation of the ground floor of a villa, consisting of 2 living rooms blending together in an open space, a fireplace and a dining room.
In the interior, the elements of the original space that we kept, are: the wooden parquet floor, some furniture and some of the original artworks (paintings) -most of which we rearranged and placed on different spots, in order to compliment the reconfiguration of the place.
We designed, custom-made and installed the fireplace. Hence, we renovated the corner in order to installed it, by removing the corner window and replacing it with an appropriate wall consisting of fireproof materials.
We built a wall to partly separate the TV living room from the dining area and through our extensive market research, we selected the vintage-colored furniture as well as the 2 golden lighting units installed across the 2 living rooms and also the chandelier installed in the dining area.
We designed and custom-made the golden mirror with its perimetrical base been handcrafted with golden leaves. We combined and applied different wallpapers on the walls, in order to compliment and unify the multi-space semi-open-plan ground floor of the villa and we chose and appropriately placed the new curtains to fit in and blend well with the rest of the elements.
In the exterior garden, we designed and custom-made the aluminium pergola with a removable roof, functioning via remote control and the perimetrical aluminium fence.
We also designed and custom made the stainless steel barbeque counter, consisting of a charcoal grill – and its relevant cooking tools – a sink and spacious cupboards. The particular stainless steel chosen, is of top quality with 10 years guaranteed sustainability.
The exterior of the barbeque unit was designed, custom-made and cladded with absolute white marble. The height of the outer side of the barbeque unit is ergonomically suited to serve the purposes of a bar.
Below the top surface of the marble counter, we designed and installed “hidden” lighting which plays with light, darkness and shadows, creating ambiance. The elements of both light and darkness in architecture and design are of great importance, in terms of aesthetics.
Additionally, we designed the lighting on the grass surface of the garden of the villa and here you can have a taste of a small part of the night lighting of the garden. We always pay extra attention to the concept of light and darkness, which do not exist without one another. The correct use of both elements makes a huge difference in the overall aesthetic result, in any project.
