Golden Blu Room
This is a living and dining room, where our client asked us to upgrade and refresh, by adding some design elements and some color. He wanted to keep the setting, the furniture, the ceramic floor, the silver blinds on the windows and the lighting units.
Our interventions, even though specific and limited, created a significant change on the overall aesthetic aspect and impression of the newly-done space, as the design elements we added were carefully thought through, designed and efficiently crafted, to make the difference our client expected. To undertake the task of creating a significant transformation of a space whilst having a lot of limitations, is challenging and the success in achieving it brings great satisfaction.
We perceived and elaborated the idea of the painting through initial drawings, concerning the theme, the colors, the white framing, the size and the placement. After discussion and exchanging of ideas with our client, we finalized it and then went on and created it.
You can see how the gold-leaves touches on the painting, match and blend well together with the gold wallpaper we chose and applied on the walls. We also designed and custom-made the abstract mirror placed on the wall above the buffet, combining the gold and silver dominating colors of the space on the circled mirrors, blending in with pieces of clear mirrors. The final addition to this space is the magenta and gold-colored classic Italian high-end design chair.
